wow it is almost christmas. We are almost done with all of the shopping. This is good for us, early! I'm very excited for the kids. Jordan sees the presents under the tree and everyday gets up and says can I open my presents now? It is so cute, I tell him NO and then he cries, he is very excited, really. Today Charlie is off work, and then hes also off tomorrow and then he works 3 more days and then he will be off work for a week, we love that, but Jessica and Jason will be at their Fathers house for that week also so that stinks.

The weather is super cold. It really feels like christmas time should feel, I think. We are all hoping for snow, but well see.

Now this blog is super hard to design. I just can't figure it all out. So Ash, throw some suggestions out there if you could. I have been trying to add a player, but can't figure that out either. Well I must get off here for now. Hope all is staying warm out there. Merry Christmas to All.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family. The holidays take forever to get here and fly by to quickly. I didn't get to take enough pictures, but did get a few. We really love spending time with each and everyone of them. Thank you all so very much for the great time and new memories. We really had alot of laughs at Chris and Jenny's this year but then again when have we not had laughs.

Well Thanksgiving has now come and gone and now only 15 days till, Christmas. Not much time for shopping these days, my wonderful hubby don't get much time off. When he is off I don't really feel much like skipping off to the stores. I would if my wonderful shopping buddies lived closer. Rachel and Ashley! While we were up in St. Louis my sister in law took me to a fabulous shopping place called Value Village, I found jeans for my son. Yeah it may not sound so great but we are talking slim, slim jeans. Talk and linky. Thanks Jenny for taking me there.

Now Christmas, all the kids have made lists and they are so simple this year, but where is the time. It is so stinking cold that I just havent wanted to go shopping, cause of the baby. It was 27 degrees today at noon. That is cold. Our cold water was frozen this morning, thank goodness the pipe didn't burst.

I need ideas for other christmas gifts for family, but running out of time. We won't be going anywhere for Christmas this year, bummer, but we just ran out of vacation time, cause of the birth of the baby and the sick time chuck had to take for his leg being hurt. We are planning a wonderful feast though. We already bought the ham, yummy. More pie making, I love to bake. Charlie will be off work for a week. Well not sure I will be posting again before Christmas, but I will be able to post more often now becaue we have the internet once again. I love the new system we have so far it is the fastest we have. We have internet through our Cell phone company with a usb port and it works great. Well hope all is doing well and has the warmest and happiest holidays ever. Loads of Love from the Karich Family!!!!

Spent the day with my niece yesterday. It was great to spend time with her. We got to talk alot and really catch up on all kinds of things, I hope we get to see her alot. It is still really hard to talk about my brother with out tearing up. I really miss talking to him.

I didn't feel good at all last night, it was really weird, I woke up yesterday with my throat sore and scratchy, and of course I didn't take anything. Went all day long, so last night about 9:30 it hit me, I got the chills my whole body hurt. So I went to bed at 10:15, I could not get warm. Charlie made it home at 11:20 and he put another quilt on me finally by 1 in the morning I was warm enough to finally drift off to a good sleep. I really feel run down. To much things that have been on my mind and not taking care of myself. I really don't even feel like getting out of bed much, but my babies keep me going, thank God for my joys that I do have and they are everything to me. So I do get up every morning and thank Him everyday for each and every one of them. I love my family that God has given me. Thank you for each and everyone of you out there, I love you all.

Fall Weather

This weekend hubby was off work. We all so enjoy it when hes off work, especially when it is two days in a roll and when it happens to be the weekend. So the weather was wonderful fall weather. Very cool. We got to cuddle and stay warm. It is so wonderful.

Other news is that my 2 month old prefers to sleep in his own bed. (sniff, sniff) He actually sleeps better. He really wants to be in bed no later than 10pm and sleeps until 6am. So talk about some full breasts in the morning from not feeding him all night. So I think I'm feeling some depression from him sleeping in his own bed. All day today I have just been wanting to cry. My eyes well up and I just want to sit and cry. I don't want him to grow up, and charlie told me today, you know that he will soon grow up and be just as rotten as our other don't you, and I just looked at him. So sad.

Jessica had two ballgames today, she played one and the other team forfeited the last game because it was raining. Imagine that, a coach who really didn't want their girls being out in the rain all evening. I'm really tired of ball now. I just don't really want to go and do anything outside of the house much these days. She still has 6 more games. Then Basketball is starting for both children through school. I'm just alittle tired of going. Maybe I will pull out of it. Lord help me, I sure could use some strength.

Well the other children are doing great, no one else is sick. Flu is all around us, maybe that is why I don't want to go anywhere, just don't want myself or my little ones to come down with anything else, especially little Joshie. I hate it when they get sick, I just feel so week when they feel week and sick. Schools around in this area are all doing Flu shots tomorrow at the schools, I really smell trouble there. But we'll see!!! Goodnight!

Losing a loved one

This is my first post, plus my first blog. I have other family member that blog and I just love jumping on the computer everyday to check and see if they update. Even though we talk on the phone the blogs sometimes feel us in of what else they have done that maybe we didn't get to talk about. I really enjoy reading each and every one. I will add their sites later, or as soon as I learn all the ropes of the blogs. I wanted to blog today about losing a loved one to the eternal life with God.

Sunday September 20th 2009, I got a call at 10am. It was my niece Chelsea, she was crying terribly hard and I kept having to ask her what. She had calmed down enough to tell me that my brother had had a heartattack and that he didn't make it. They could not revive him. Now this is my half brother, but he had felt like the best brother in the world. He had been there for me in so many ways. We were estranged for many years but got together 13 years ago at our mothers house for the holidays. His wife and I were both pregnant at the time, we were both due around the same time, so we thought that was pretty neat. The girls were born 6 days apart. This is my brothers youngest daughter and was my first daughter. We never knew that our journey together was about to begin.

We had to get to know one another, and if you have never gone through this it is difficult. We were both adults now and totally missed out on all of the fights and the schooling together that brothers and sisters do. We had different dads. He lived all the way across oklahoma as far west that you can go and I lived as far east as you could go in oklahoma. So it wasn't a easy trip for either of us to get to spend time with one another, (don't ever let distance stop you from spending time with loved one). He did lots of traveling with his job so he came to see us guite often. We became very close. It got to were we talked on the phone either every other day or at least twice a week. We never had a disagreement in the 13 years that we were blessed with each other. We were very close, he was my go to person for all the arguements and disagreements that went on with our everyday life. He was 43 years old. I am about to be 32.

I will deeply miss my brother every single day. Please don't every let your loved ones go with out telling them how much they mean to you. Tell them you love them and spend as much time as possible with them. (Even if it means you don't have money for food sometimes after you get back from a trip to go spend time with them.) Be close to your family. Do things for them and with them even if it wasn't your choice. Family ties mean so much. Teach your children to bond together and stay together. R I P my brother, I love you!!!!
